In My Absence: Atlanta + EcoFriendly Momma + New Job

My excitement runneth over right now! OK, know I've been M.I.A for awhile. Save my last nonsense post, I haven't written in over a month. So where have I been you ask? Well let me tell you.

Back in June I took a mini vacay to HOTlanta...woot! We met up with a friend -- she flew up from Miami, we drove down from N.C. -- to celebrate her birthday. As she used to reside in Atlanta, she led the way and led us straight to the Apache Cafe for a night of poetry. Jon Goode made me LAUGH! Ursula Rucker made me THINK! An enjoyable night, an enjoyable vacation. But as I said before, it was a mini one so I'm due for another vacation real soon...D.C. in a couple of wooks (yay!) and Arkansas in Sept. (paternal fam).
