You need a few basic tools and materials to get you started. To make the basic necklace you'll nee d wire cutters ,A pair of needle nose pliers and Tiger's Tail jewelry wire, beads. choose your beads. You'll need one large center bead and enough smaller beads to run the length of necklace on either side. You can mix these beads with blue quartz, stone or other materials to break up the pattern.

Decide the necklace longth

Popular lengths are 16 inches, 18 inches , 20 inches, 22 inches and etc. To decide this, you can cut string and wrap it around your neck so that it looks like a necklace. When you find the length of the necklace, cut the string and measure it. Remember that adding a clasp will take up an additional half inch.

Stringing and Beads

Cut a certian length of beading string. Thread the teardrop crystal prism to the halfway point. Thread one 10mm bead on either side of the crystal. Alternate three bicone-shaped beads with three 10mm seed beads on either side of the crystal. Your necklace can be any color you'd like.

Finishing the Necklace

Then add the clasp and you will be finished. There are many types of clasps. Slip the ring at one end of the necklace through the hole on one side of the clasp, then close the ring. On the other side, open the clasp and slip the opening over the end ring. Wear this sparkling, light weight piece of necklace around your neck, That's all!
