What are your hobbies and interests?

At the current time I get to spend my days with my son and nephew, they are only eight days apart in age. I love it and wouldn't change it for the world, so most of my activities, hobbies and interests involve that of what a one year old would do. I love teaching Jack new things, playing in the park, going to the zoo and just cuddling him.

What type of music do you like?

I am into a whole mixture of music. Jack Johnson, Colbie Caillat, Rise Against, Barry Louis Polisar, AMV, The Velvet Underground, Bright Eyes, Green Day, 3 Doors Down, Taking Back Sunday, Silversun Pickups, Hellogoodbye, Dashboard Confessional, Amy Winehouse...just to name a few

Mommy Needs Sleep!!

Back in North Dakota, Hooked back up to the Internet and...ugh

Finally have internet again.
I have some questions for all the single parents out there.
My son's father is touch and go. One month he wants to be in Jack's life, five mins later he is gone.
He had not contacted me for over a month, and than today, he contacts me and tries to demand I drop off Jack tomorrow, which I will not do.

Ranting

I am so frustrated.
As I am starting my move from CA to North Dakota I feel like I am losing more than I am gaining to be close to my parents again. I don't want to live off of assistance, I want to get back on my feet and with the job that I accepted I will not even be able to get daycare assistance.
So moving out of my parents house will be next to impossible with that expense.

Airplanes and 1 year olds

On the Oct 20th, Monday, i will be leaving East County San Diego to head back to the good old state of North Dakota! Not only will I have my 15 month old son with me, but I will also have my 14 month old Nephew with me! (My sister-in-law will be flying with also, since you cannot have 2 children on one lap.) My nephews mom, my sister, will be leaving on a short deployment today. The worst date of my life.

I went out on the worst date of my life last night. My friend set me up with a guy, we went on a blind date, I had assumed she told him that I had a son, but obviously didn't. We were talking waiting for our meals to arrive and I brought up Jack, he asked who Jack was and I told him my son, he kindly said I need to use the restroom, I sat and waited over 20 mins for him to come back, he never did.
