Hi Louise! Welcome to the community of those on the autism journey. It's been a while since my son's diagnosis. Tell me how old is your child and where is your child on the spectrum? Severe, verbal, on medication, etc..
Welcome Savannah!
I will share with you wise words from an attorney that helped me a lot regarding legal proceedings~ Kill em with kindness.
Works every time. Remember as long as you have your sons best interest in mind, everything will work out.

Blogs have gone by the wayside for now- between work, school and taking care of my girls, I have no other life! I don't see it slowing down anytime soon either. Sigh.
Hope all is well with you!

There is a sense of pride, and hope and joy, that goes along with being a parent of a child with these types of issues, isn't there? You are the first person who has acknowledged that. Have you seen the site 4pawsforability.org? Might interest you. . . I just stumbled across it literally 10 minutes ago when my sister-in-law told me about it. I might have to foster a dog in training for a child! Public awareness and education is important to me too--right now my focus is more on mental illness and depression, and suicide prevention. I'm helping to organize a walk in October--once that's done, I'll shift my focus. Maybe I'll take a puppy then!
And you missy....the only thing 'wrong' with you, is that you think there's something wrong with you. Knock it off. Leave your self doubt at the door girlie. What's the rush? Just let it roll mama~
