Punching In
I haven’t punched in for some time so I figured I might as well.
The past 2 months have been difficult but I’ve grown from the pain. The pain has been loneliness, and it’s been nailing me really hard in bed. I’ve been waking up at 3am and just absolutely losing it, having to meditate myself again into a relaxed state enough to sleep. Then waking up at my usual time feeling alone. This more of a rant than a blog.
SO… I have been on a rollercoaster since Mother’s Day weekend. I’ve been battling depression and went to see a doctor who prescribed me an SSRI anti depressant. This made me feel like I was on acid. I was not okay with the feelings that came with the meds and I stopped taking it right away, however by a few days later I was depressed even more. A dead cat bounce I’ve been calling it (even a dead cat will bounce up if you drop it far enough). So I went back to the doctor and he put me on Welbutri… Continue

It's a Circus
Alas, No more morels. But there has been a flurry of animal activity on our pond. The frogs are chirping at night, the heron is out almost every day, we have two muskrats, a ground hog, a bunch of squirrels, 3 Canadian geese couples, as many ducks, both are having of already have babies. The GIANT snapping turtle that lives in our pond will enjoy that. Haley has made new friends in the neighborhood too. Wylie is a self-professed indoor kid.

God, why?
My daughter was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder yesterday afternoon (on top of her autism). She starts on anti-psychotics tonight, she's 10. Her behavior has been getting severe since she started her periods two months ago. I'm still in shock, I'm just trying to share it with the universe. I'm not sure yet what it's all about, how to feel, who to tell. What do I tell them, especially at school. There are regular blood draws she's going to have to have with these meds...

- Life was rolling along, and *smack*, the universe bopped me on the head. Oh well, I guess live and learn. It is hard working out this custody with the ex. I'm trying to be fair and make concessions, but it would be really nice for him to reciprocate. Now I am trying to coordinate the kids school schedule, my school schedule, therapy appointments, and Brownie activities... I know you can relate!
