winter rates...nice. But, i can't do anything ever during weekdays. Do they have the same rates on the weekends?

my hips almost there....anybody want to go the Capland's driving range by costco in beaverton like maybe next weekend? do a warm up before we hit the course in maybe 3 weeks?

yeah, but now we have months to talk about how good we are....

the funny thing about golf is that most people don't say they suck and from my experience, most people do suck (my self included). It's just that some suck way more than others.

in regards to the weather, I'm down. I used to work for nike and I have some pretty sophisticated rain gear and umbrella. I say it's on! besides, we aren't expected to be good in a downpoor.

as soon as my hip is better i'm going to organize something.

Wish I could, Drew. I stay home with the kids so I'd have to do weekends or early evening. Besides I can barely walk let alone swing a club. As soon as I'm healthy I'll plan something. Y'all better have rain gear!

I like a lot of those east portland courses - they're pretty old, no?

Both Clare and Drew...I thought Clare was pushing us to play a very prestigious course while Drew was tempting me to play a very familiar one....anyway it was fun to read.

A par 3 would be a good place to start, then to heron lakes it is!!! I used to work at Meriweather Golf Course in Hillsboro - they also have a par 3 course.

I meant, have you ever been to Sah-hah-lee in Clackamas? It's a par 3 course, really nice, really cheap.
