OK... So the time is finally here... we are making the BIG plans on FINALLY moving to Oregon (Portland) from NJ this JULY!!!
I have my resume out and will hopefully be getting a transfer, looks like the office is in Tigard.

The big question that I have is... I need to find an apartment; it can be a complex.

Since I don’t know the area an apartment building would probably be better than renting a house or buying something.

Any one knows good areas, when you look on Craigs-list they give address but how do I know if that is the BEST area of town. I have been looking on Rent.com, craigslist etc…. but as you all know… looks are deceiving, and trying to read all the comments from prior years on apartment ratings gets kinda old….FAST!

It will be my 7-year-old daughter, my boyfriend, our cat, and myself!


We need a 3 bedroom apartment, OK to have our cat, we would love to be close to the Max line, or at least a bus and than to the max. Looking to spend up to $1000 at most.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for all your help!

oh! if there are any mom's with new babies, i teach mom and baby pilates. first class is free, and after that drop-ins are only $10. 6 weeks packages available for low cost too. let me know if anyone is interested.

hello i am new here. i am trying to find a new place to live. i can't find roommates who want to live with a baby. i can't afford to live in a single-room apartment, nor would i want to be that isolated. any suggestions? or anyone looking or know of a baby friendly place in inner SE pdx? thanks! xo
