I live in Portland now but will be moving to Seattle soon so hopefully there will be lots of members from that area.

There are a lot of members in Seattle Sharin, you can do a member search for WA and a good majority are in Seattle.

Hi Sharon, Yes there is a small but grown contingent from Seattle here. I think I saw you already on the meetup group. Jion the Seattle group on I heart too:-)

OK - what about the possibility of single parents groups through Meetup.com in other cities? There was already a well established group here in Portland with membership over 100 when iHeart came along. Larger cities may also have this locally.

I have posted to the Single2mother yahoo boards(sent an invite to the whole group with permission from Randi the organizer... about 400 members) also posted to the Seattle Single Parents meetup(411 member). I'll resend messages to both group:-)

Another thing to do is post to yahoo, msn, myspace and facebook single parent groups.
