(Thank you to Laurakim, a member who doesn't even celebrate Thanksgiving (because she is from South Africa!) for inspiring this discussion. Your blog post on "Things I am Grateful For" made me so happy, I wanted the trend to carry though the whole community!)
Imagine if all of us made it a goal to share 5 things each day that brought us joy, what a list of gratitude we would have compiled by the end of the month!
Can't wait to read what everyone shares each day...
1. The gym and it's toxin releasing activity!
2. Seeing my little ones after days away
3. Preteen giggles.
4. Friends who know when to just stop and give you a hug.
5. Jerky boyfriends of friends-- to remind me why I'm single.
Today I am thankful for:
1. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs
2. Valium
3. People to let me be in my anxiety
4. That 7am is the time and it's over
5. That my wrist will be "fixed" after 2 years of griping.
That I am not in No Korea. Watching the journalist made me cry as they met thier families. Luck I live in such a free place that even if money is tight I know things can always be worse elsewhere on the planet.
1. The Blessing of the Backpacks at church this morning
2. All the teachers who are working hard to make my girls' lives a little easier during this difficult time.
3. Loyal friends.
4. Laughing with girlfriends yesterday.
5. My iHeart friends.

today i am grateful for:
1) having enough money to feed and clothe my daughter without having to go to a food bank
2) living so close to my parents so they can enjoy my daughter as much as i do
3) Having an opportunity to help other women who aren't as lucky as i am at this time in their lives.
4) being alive still at 33 when i never thought i'd make it past 17.
5)being blessed with my baby girl, and all the lessons she has taught me about myself and life.
My youngest son got meet his great grandpa today and had a blast, all the manner's that I hope he had listened to over the years came flooding out and had to do a double take to make sure it was still my kiddo.
My Positive Mental Attitude! My soon-to-be ex is quite the thespian....I hear.... (that's a vent! he has some + qualities, I swear!)
BUT, I retain hope for a better parental friendship down the road. I will make the best out of this situation! No matter what!
And someday, I may sleep again! woot!

Glad i did not die a month ago. It was a wake up call. Somoene on here made me think about something in a different way in a different light and that has been very helpful.
