I love my Honda CR-V. Roomy enough without being huge. Has a picnic table under the carpet in the boot. Lots of legroom ( to prevent too much kicking by the kid in the backseat!) and a five-disc CD player for my tunes. :)

Minivan. Except that those things are beasty-spendy when it comes to gas.

I have 5 kids, so a minivan is almost a necessity. I can just barely fit all my kids into my Taurus but it's tight and uncomfortable for long.

I recently got my little car for the single part of my life Honda CRX great gas milage :) but not for long hehehe. But for my family life I have a 96 mercury sable for me and the kids

I don't know if it's an ideal single parent car or what, but my favorite car is the Honda Element hybrid. Anyone got one they're willing to part with??? Blue with gray trim, please. ;-)

well lets see i do have to have enough room for the dog so my ideal vehicle would be the Toyota 4 runner. I currently have liberty but it's a little small. So just need to go slightly bigger

I have a little Golf and it seems the perfect car for us. Its not too big but has enough space!

Not sure though what I would get if I had the money for a new car?

It's gotta be the minivan. My kids are in JROTC/Sports and we like to go camping. Is there such a thing as an economical SUV? Wouldn't mind trading into one of those.
