KidFest is an amazing weekend of family-oriented entertainment, information and resources all packed into hundreds of interactive exhibits for kids and parents. KidFest: Toddlers to Teens—KidFest is truly the place to find the best resources for your family. Other theme areas include the Safety Zone featuring AquaSmart with the Multnomah County Sheriff River Patrol and the Daughters of Neptune, free Child ID Kits for all the kids from SecureChild and the Portland Police.The Health & Wellness theme area will feature a variety of services available to families in the metro area as well as free hearing and vision testing and workshops on various topics related to family health.

New this year, the Adventure Dad theme area will feature dozens of really great organizations run by and for Dads offering a variety of resources for families. (authors, athletes, education, sports & recreation) This interactive area will feature opportunities to try out equipment, book trips, talk with many of the authors and explore a variety of adventure available here in the Northwest.

The Extreme Fun Zone features Rock Climbing, Giant Slides and Jump Houses, a Petting Zoo, Walk on the Wildside Reptile Exhibit, The Game Truck Video Interactive Zone, Mad Science Experiments, contests, cool prizes and more. A Twilight Party is even planned for fans of the Twilight series.
